Monday night held the 91st annual Huntington County Chamber of Commerce dinner at the Police Athletic League. The night was full of good food, lots of fun, and Chamber awards.
Our very own Amy Mattox was named the 2014 Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year. Steve Kimmel, the executive director of the Huntington Chamber, said Amy was chosen due to her commitment to the Ambassador program.
“Amy was selected as the 2014 Chamber Ambassador of the Year for her devotion to the Chamber of Commerce. Amy tries to attend as many ribbon cuttings, open houses, After Hours and Breakfast Showcases as possible,” Kimmel said. “She also attends other activities of the Chamber and even helped the Chamber with a Marketing and Public Relations 101 Seminar for small businesses in 2014.”
One of the key facets of the Clear Elevation mission is to help businesses grow – by creating vivid, interactive, forward-thinking digital creative services. Being part of the Huntington Chamber is part of that mission to help businesses grow.
“I am honored to receive this award,” Amy said. “There were many ambassadors who deserved it. I am just happy to represent Clear Elevation and to connect more with businesses here in my home town.”
Nate Reusser of Reusser Design is one of Clear Elevation’s managing partners. He said having Amy as an active member of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce is one way we can give back to the community.
Amy will likely have the chance to present at Chamber events in 2015. Stay tuned to find out when and where!
